I wanna wash my hands, my face and hair with Snow, Snow, Snow, Snow, Snow!

Kaia loves to sing this song from "White Christmas" whenever it is snowing or whenever she is asking to go outside and play in the snow or whenever she is, in fact, outside playing in the snow.

On Steven's day off this week, we decided to give the kiddos some quality time. It was a very relaxed day which started with white chocolate pancakes (I was being hormonal and giving into cravings...stinkin' PMS...) and then led to outside adventures, then to family naps after tortellini soup and fresh bread, then a family movie popcorn night--we watched Little Men. Morgan and Kaia were finally in good health again and Steven and I were rested more than usual--which is not well rested, just more rested. It was a "splendid day" to put it in Kaia's own words.

Morgan looked like a CHUNK in his marshmallow snow suit. Totally awesome--we're so stoked to have snow suits for both of our kids! Made Steven and I giggle the entire time. Plus, it didn't help that Morgan was scowling and grunting like the manliest caveman in all creation.

What a splendid, snowy day!
